[DEFI YOLOs] whale.loans / Staking HUMP for 29,100% APY
Hey Gabe here. I know Chad published a fun “medium risk” farm play today with JEWEL-ONE on Defi Kingdoms on the Harmony Network… but YOLO.. so it’s time for a risky play!
We are going to use what’s left over from our 3OMB/FTM LP failed play (read here) over at grim. So we’ve got $112.43 USD to play with.
whale.loans (CoinMarketCap) which has a supposed 29,100% APY for single staking HUMP will pay around 79% per day. That means on our $112 bucks we should be earning well over $80 a day if this is all true. You live and learn right?
We first have to move money from out FTM wallet to our BSC wallet, using synapse again like in the past..
After a few seconds, money has arrived. 🥳
I swapped all of my $109.443 USDC to 13.269 HUMP
On whale.loans, i submitted my HUMP to the stake pool.
While approving metamask, I modified the unlimited spend contract and limited it to 50 HUMPs just in case.

Observations: TVL went up, APY stayed the same (it’s prob fake), ROI 5 Day Decreased (that’s the real APY), We earned some hump, now we have total 13.3385 which is 0.0694 hump more or if we calculate hump price right now that’s a whopping $0.573244 USD

We’ve now got 18.0631 sHUMPs worth $84.8346, so we’re down in dollar value but up in sHUMPs. Sucks, but the current war in ukraine fked up everything globally on all markets. We’ll continue to monitor this…
